Pallet Bench

In this garden bench series select oak shipping pallets are carefully dismantled and recomposed. The bottom shelf slides out to reveal a storage area for spare pots and garden materials. The oak is cleaned with a wire brush and left unfinished so as to patina during it's next lifecycle. The design intent is to create a completely original bench while still hinting at, and paying respect to, the former life of the material.
